Agree, that his best position is behind the striker, but I wouldn't mind using him on the left wing. He plays there most of the time for the Dutch national team and can do a very good job there.

But we have a quality left winger. And two quality players in the just behind the forward role.

Since we have limited cash than he's just not a priority, especially given how expensive he'll be. What we want is a right winger.

VDV would be a better option than Osman on the right wing and he could fill in for Arteta whilst injured.

Think more of moving Pienaar to the right, as he's more natually suited to that role, I believe. Could do a lot of interchanging during the game though.

I'd be better than Osman there, mate. That doesn't say a lot. It's still not his natural position.

VDV is quality no doubt but if we're only bringing in one big signing this year, than I would want a more natural right winger.

21.45 Dutch midfielder Rafael Van der Vaart will be allowed to leave Real Madrid on a free transfer after falling out of favour at the Bernabeu.

C'mon Moyes - he's right in our price range!!!! He'd take a sizeable shave on his wages but Everton have a RM slot for the taking.
