Beyond a few people on social media (which is hardly representative), is there any evidence in the match day crowd that the fans are against him?

Or is it just the grumblings against the usual rubbish on the pitch?
I’m not sure there are that many against him , in my opinion they definitely aren’t as pro him as you’d expect them to be after a very decent run of form as manager (until your last two games ) .

look it’s all about opinions and mine , for all it’s worth is he basically doesn’t bank credit like you’d expect almost every other manager to do . Coming back from behind to win a manager would be gaining credit but I think his evaporates relatively quickly after defeats If that makes sense ?

Who was the last manager to go down and win the championship the year after?
Again, why do Geordies love him? Or Valencia, the RS or Naples (even the board at Naples wanted him back, last time I bothered to look it up)?
Look at his buys at Naples, quality.

He is good. Very good.

Doesn't mean we cant critize mind...
Daniel Farke and Norwich in 20/21 is the answer to your question
If Norwich can do it after finishing bottom of the premier league and without spending money it’s not really a great feat for the FSW to do it considering the budget he was given to spend when the horse punchers got relegated
Maybe take of the red tinted glasses and look at the facts with a cold observant eye

The 7% really piping up hard this week after everton C team drew a game and then lost on pens.

And FB92 swatting them like flies.
He should be our next DOF

Ok, lets open google then:

Spending only counts (in my book) when you do not have to sell. His total netspend at NUFC is - (minus) 11 million for three season. That's hardly spending, that's selling. Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/48755583

He got them on 10th place first season back with no investment, wikipedia tells me.
Also, conceding less than some top 6 clubs (Arsenal, Leicester & Everton), with Jamaal Lascelles leading the defensive line...
