Racist incident

I’m sure you are aware that we had a reputation for not being inclusive, regarded as a top down problem. We were not alone and whether it was deserved is a separate issue, but I don’t think it’s purely societal, there was a perceived institutional issue at Everton IMO.
The key word there being was. We have moved on from those dark thank god and there isn’t a problem now. Unfortunately some knobheads are going to be racist/homophobic/sexist etc and that is a reflection of society and not Everton FC and they should be met with the harshest possible sanctions.

Last thing we need is another chance for the media to lay in to us.
fortunately the only ones to lay into and like to generalize us are idiots just like this one. most people are sane enough to know that humanity is full of dumb people, and it's not exclusive to any other team. anyone who's paying attention to this is the type of person who has an agenda against us anyway

Some cockney "blues" were using the n word to abuse some guy on a train at an away match a few years back. I was on the train and told them to leave it out. They then all ganged up on me threatening to beat me up. It was just me and five of them all bigger and angrier than me. I'm a lover not a fighter. Sadly I think I'd bite my tongue next time. It wasn't pleasant

Am sorry but as someone who sits in the Paddock I think it's important that we get into the heads of the opposing team...you won't get it from the family enclosure. I dont want any player or official getting an easy ride when they come to GP. I want to them dread playing Paddock side.

Racism on the other hand should be met with a lifetime ban.
And I'm sorry mate but I think you're badly wrong.

Passion, generic exclamations of frustration etc etc all fine, I get it. Abusing lads for kicking a ball about because you think it makes you feel like an Ultra is just bizarre to me.

But each to their own.

How did you know they're blues?

I genuinely don't get involved,Happily leave all that to other people. * Walks off like Danny Dyer*

Indeed. Thankfully this one has been found out.
Hear hear.

I think if everybody was courageous enough to report such people, the Gwladys could be thinned out by a good few thousand.

The overwhelming majority of Blues are great people from my experience, but there are still a lot who think it's acceptable or funny to abuse others based on appearance, sexuality, nationality, race, etc.
