Not use language like 'want their hotel back'.She's in Parliament to represent the constituents that elected her. What is she supposed to do?
Arson with intent to endanger life, which carries a far lesser sentence.Them Tamworth videos are the worst of the lot. Be a lot up on attempted murder hopefully.
Not use language like 'want their hotel back'.
She could have used less emotive language.Well, if her constituents have said that to her as their MP she's meant to represent them to Parliament and the Government. Literally.
She could have used less emotive language.
Slaps need to be given, all round
I know she did. It looks worse in hindsight knowing that the hotel she is saying her constituents 'want back' from refugees is currently on fire with said refugees inside it, but this is the kind of language and rhetoric which is now acceptable. It's very much in line with Labour's over-the-top stance on immigration to try to win votes from the kind of people out setting hotels on fire. She said it in Parliament before this
She's there to represent her constituents. You're being ridiculous like that poster on twitter claiming otherwise.
You're falling into the trap that has created this entire situation. People's voices should be heard. That is what MPs are there to do in Parliament.

I just checked, there are rooms.available. So what do they mean by "we want ARE hotel back"?She's in Parliament to represent the constituents that elected her. What is she supposed to do?
Edit. The point I'm making is that is a nonsense post. As an MP she has to address the concerns of her constituents. Literally.
I didn't say that we can't talk about difficult issues or that MPs can't raise them. I said she could've chosen her wording in a less divisive way. She could have made her point about hotels in her constituency being used to house migrants, clearing the backlog, whatever, without using rhetoric which panders to racists. The idea you seem to think that we can't talk about difficult issues or that MPs can't raise them is a nonsense one.
It's trying to silence actual democracy and its not the way things should be.
Your just letting your sensibilities be offended because you don't want to address difficult topics.
You're being ridiculous if you think MPs can't raise things in Parliament that concerns their constituents. Absolutely ridiculous. You will create more problems and undermine our entire democracy with your thinking.
