I was trying to state the reason why they're being put in hotels is mainly because of Processing Delays: The asylum process can be lengthy, and delays in processing applications mean that migrants need to be housed for extended periods. Hotels are used to bridge this gap because of the massive backlog, am i wrong?

You are not wrong but look at that more as holding pens rather than hotels, they are not getting the swanky 5 star experience or anything. Most of them would prefer not to be there.

Elon Musk may very well find himself subject to legal proceedings. He currently thinks he's untouchable and has a massive online platform (which under his ownership has gone to the dogs) but he'll find he's not untouchable when governments start prioritising national security, over his interests.

It is a picture of many moving parts, mate. Race might be seen as the driver but I'd dare to suggest that a lot of the frustration and anger is because of the mess the country is in. I think it is fair to say that people feel ignored and see the previous government taking them for fools while ensuring their mates get richer and richer. A lot of our youth are just looking for an excuse to make mischief/vent frustration. I would dare to say that is someone has genuine concerns and issues and you label them a racist then as alluded to earlier, and with the greatest respect, you are a part of the problem. I suppose we all are in our own ways.

It’s a class thing really. But the working class - builders, plumbers etc are now actually on the whole middle class these days.
The sub working class - on benefits, uneducated, taking lowest paid agency work - these are the ones that are angry. Rather than be angry at the system that’s not working for them they are being directed to the asylum seekers. Mainly because these asylum seekers are being put into these communities. Not in to the middle class neighbourhoods.
