The Tory Party and the Labour Party have vacated the stage.

Only anti-nazi groups like ANTIFA and the trade union movement have the muscle to get out on the streets to crush these vermin in the gutters they belong in.
Tbf Dave, my mind hasn't even considered politics in all of this. I must admit this week has been brutal for me.

It honestly makes me sad and feel less proud to be British when I have to tell people I love and care about. That I can't guarantee their safety and to be careful or stay indoors.

Tbh that seems a rather sensible, if sad, security precaution.
I think it can be economical or practical rather than necessarily not wanting to stand out . Converting an existing building into a suitable place of worship isn't uncommon and not all areas have the flexibility in planning laws for a more elaborate structure. Could just be a willingness to be a good member of the local community and keep within the established character of an area.

So long as it meets the functional requirements then that's the main thing rather than security.

Sending hugs your way mate, know it has been a pretty bleak week.

Politics and the kow-towing of the major parties to the dog whistle racism of the far right is at the heart of this.

They look at the political leader of the country and see him on the attack against migrants and are emboldened.

It's a vicious circle.

Please Dave, shut up with this, its boring.

Blaming Starmer is pathetic and something I expect from the knuckle draggers knocking police off bikes.
