Sorry to hear your very bad news @Death.
We had a Shar-pei for 13 years and it was absolutely wrenching when she went. We said at the time, never again, ain’t gonna go through that again.
1 year later we got a Frenchie and she is the best thing in the world. Definitely need a comedian, companion, confidante in our lives.
Maybe one day you may get another one but I understand that , right now, you need to process the shock of your loss.
Keep the faith bro, the good memories will make you smile in time.

Very sad to hear that mate, I and many other's who have lost an animal [me losing 2 dogs without hardly any notice will know how you will be feeling] even more so when it sounds like a Routine op for your young dog

My dog died today on the operating table getting simple knee surgery.

Its fair to say I am [Poor language removed] gutted.

Don't do Facebook or any of that.
Need to grief here. If you can bare with me.

I lost a son today.

Thats awful. We had to put our dog to sleep 2 years ago and I still miss him terribly. Had him for 14 years. At least we had some time to prepare and say goodbye.
