..this will be unpopular but I think Jordan Henderson is a top professional and an underrated player. I like the blokes attitude, I remember two Derby matches where Ross Barkley was made to look like a little boy lost. I remember the criticism of him by SAF in his book and Henderson’s response that he respected the view of such a great man.

I thoroughly dislike him. He drives me mad listening to him. He is a dirty little snide.

But it's daft to claim anything other than he is an extremely improved footballer. In a different league to Eric Dire.

he is the player in possession of england's weakest area, he was in charge of liverpools weakest area in the champions league final where he looked quite the little boy lost. he might do okay today against a team uninterested in dominating midfield, but in the grand scheme of things he's absolutely average, as soon as the window opened they bought two cm's, they didn't do that because henderson is a top player

It's one of the age-old questions: Why are the crowd always so far ahead of the band when singing our National Anthem?

Because generally the sound quality in stadiums is rubbish and the minute the singing starts the music is drowned out.

Another problem is these bands they get to play anthems who insist on playing at a ridiculously slow pace you'd never sing along at. And they are too stubborn to play in time with the crowd. A real musical faux past.
