I'm not surprised there are clubs sniffing Heitinga now. Always thought he was a different signing for us. IMO, he is usually the type of player who thinks he is better than a club, and most players like that would never sign for EFC. He always caught me as the type of person who thinks playing for, say, Roma is far and away better than Everton.

Heitinga is going no where, he was saying on Everton TV he was looking forward to the season, he seems very happy here.

It's all relative anyway....4.5mil for Heitinga could equal a top young signing who may be worth 20million in a couple of seasons....

It would be interesting to see what the Lescott sale got us in terms of profit in the end though....distin isnt worth much, Bily gone for a loss and now Heitinga....

I'd be surprised if we got £10m (even shocked ) but if we did we'd be paying an agent anything up to a £1m to generate that price and who knows we may have to weigh johnny in and your £4m centre backs agent will want a few quid plus a hefty signing on fee that won't leave much else mate and not to mention the banks . It's never easy fella
