Pure Rumour - Heitinga to Inter £10m

But if he goes, its better than a Baines/Felli leaving. I'd be happy with £7 mil, but from what Sheedy has said Heit's isn't pushing for a move -- that will be our board - the cretins. Then again, others (fox etc) claim its a done deal, we'll just have to wait and see. I just don't think we should be selling our better players when the money won't be used to improve on a decent squad. I can understand Cahill going, and who knows, that low fee may open up a move for Donovan in January.

Bluefox is in my opinion the most reliable itk in regards to everton but on this I might just have a 'better' source or at least close to the quality of his. I'm told Heitinga doesn't want to go to turkey , the club want to move him on and I think he's happy to go but i suspect he sees himself playing at a 'higher level' than turkey . It seems we've mishandled everything and from thinking we've moved on Yobo & Heitinga we may have messed both up. Yobo is certainly not done to fene its considerably further away than it was 36hrs ago and everyone will need to work very hard to make it happen, that's not rumour that is 100% fact

It makes me angry that the club want to move on the player of the season. [Poor language removed] Bill. Logically speaking, how many people jumped on the Heitinga bandwagon after last season. Shirt sales would go up, and in my opinion he has become a favourite of many. Why ruin that. You've just got rid of a legend, don't get rid of our player of the season in the same day!

Ha Ha Ha...****ing hell. You couldn't invent these people running Everton if you tried. Two years trying to get Yobo out the door and they still cant do it.

What a shower of incompetent pricks.

I'm not one to jump on the "**** off the Board and/or BK" bandwagon, but if these rumours are to be believed then it just smacks of total incompetence, or sheer arogance. Or both.

How the Hell are such bellwhiffs in control of what remains a massive club?

And what about Moyes' role in all of this? He's claimed on numerous occasions that he has ultimate control of the transfer dealings, so he can't be absolved of blame - can he?

I honestly doubt Moyes would have shipped these players off so easily. This has come from the top...cheap, quickfire sales to keep the banks happy.

Everton in cock up shocker.

Is it written into these [Poor language removed] contracts that they have to make everything as difficult as possible?

Thanks mate, your info seems pretty solid so i'm not questioning it mate, appreciate any of it we can get - same goes to Fox. It's good to know that Johnny doesn't want to leave, but I dunno how we manage to mess everything up so much! I aways had a feeling once Baines was staying that another big - but not as key - player would be sold - e.g. Rodwell, Heitinga. Ive got no issue with Heitinga leaving, but the price should be right, and for me 4.5 is way off the mark. That gets us nothing in this market, and I really don't want to see Distin playing in the majority of games this season. Hope for the best that the club sort out the Yobo deal and that Johnny stays unless a bigger offer comes in. Like I've said, £7 mil (or anything more than we payed for him -imo he's a better player now than he was in 09) is good business.

No he cant.

As has been said umpteen times before: £3.5M per annum buys a lot of loyalty.

I washed my hands of that feller after 2009 when he agreed to put up with this deconstruction. No question in my mind now that 'the ambitious' David Moyes is in it primarily for the cash. And let's face it, this summer proved once and for all that no one above us in the current pecking order will touch him with a shitty stick.

Just think that we could really build on that Jags/Heitinga centre back pairing next season, with either Gibbo/Rodwell or Gibbo/Felli in front. If we sell Johnny and get someone like Scott Dann or Rodger Johnson, i'd fume.
