Proposed changes to the Premier league

Quite.

Free money. Whats not to like.

Not saying they shouldnt get help, but not with the cost of 6 clubs controlling football.
Exactly. Help can be provided but not at the expense of other clubs’ futures.

I can see it now, the clubs that vote against this new proposal will get a hard time in the media for not supporting smaller clubs.

If most of the people in these smaller towns supported their local clubs and not Liverpool, Man Utd, etc, they might be in better financial positions.

Getting a bit sick of this "big 6" nonsense. Spurs have won, what? one trophy in 20 years?

Unless, of course, "big" refers to turnover which tells us all we need to know about the future of football.
Exactly.

We have 3 more league titles than Chelsea and Man City and 7 more titles than Spurs.

We’d also take them all on in support.

The London media coined that phrase.

The plot thickens. FSG considering selling shares to a company that has recruited Richard Scudamore (former chief executive of the PL) as an advisor.

Well at least football supporters will now be closer to understanding that it is time to get rid of billionaires by whatever means necessary. They can't help themselves and their greed is slowly sucking the life out of society.

I think Moshiri would entertain this idea tbh based on absolutely nothing, He's took over the club got his manager and stadium in the works, I think others like DBB/BK would reject it though.

There's a good chance.

As the recent PPV plans shows the board at Everton aren't entirely aligned with notions of fairness and largesse. £5M or so towards the cost of BMD and a bigger slice of the voting pie than other competitors looking to gatecrash the upper echelons isn't going to be sniffed at. Especially when they've seen first hand the damage a couple of poor recruitment choices can do to a club.

It would be no surprise whatsoever that there had been positive talks with all clubs in the group of 9 before it went public. Given the arbitrary and somewhat ethereal notion of Big 6 and the reasoning for the 3 invited alongside it could be suggested that the likes of Leicester or Wolves were originally invited but didn't respond positively.

If they actually wanted more teams to have power they would require more than 6 votes from whatever size group. They've added the other clubs in a desperate attempt to make it look less brazen.

Now go sit in your basket and finish 7th. One day all this will be yours when we leave for the European super league.

Anything that Scumamore is involved in is bound to be dodgy. He is nothing but a weasel.
