who is diverting essential testing away from anyone? We keep getting told, and has been shown in other countries that the testing capacity isn't being used.

No one is giving the Bundesliga grief for attempting to restart.

But judging by France today, i'd guess that will start the domino effect and all seasons will go. certainly the CL will have to be ended.
They are. Only this morning did Germany announced an increase in the infection rate, including hospitalisation, and scientists have questioned the league's plans.

Aye, but they would need permission to train in their individual countries, before evening considering the travelling aspects, so it'd be a non-starter.

UEFA aren't going to ask clubs to train when their own domestic governments say it isn't allowed, hence it'll have to come after.
It seems to me all the major players are waiting for one of the others to make a decision,be it the leagues, government, teams, organisations, plus the different problems that arise, insurance for players/staff,if you finish the PL then you have to finish every other league in the pyramid, contracts certainly in lower league are mainly short term, how can you decide whi to keep/offer contracts to if it drags on and on,everything is just the equivalant of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting lalalalalala

If testing capacity/staffing/laboratory space isn't maxed out now, why are results taking up to 4 days to come back, when results (we are told) can and should be back on the same day?!

No idea. But Matt Hancock and Chris Whitty were very clear again yesterday. Testing capacity is there but isn't being used. It's the same in Germany.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong or do you actively look for new ways to embarrass yourself on a daily basis?

Whitty I have time for and he obviously knows his stuff, but I suggest he is toeing the party line, for fear of ending up like Prof David Kelly mate.

Hancock wouldn't know the difference between his arse and his elbow, and I wouldn't trust a word that slithers out of his entitled gob, so I call BS on it all.

Imho We ain't got capacity, tests or lab staff to do what is needed now, hence the backlog and slow turnaround, so no bloody footy players should be tested until we're golden in every other sector that needs it.
