They wouldn't have been able to stop fans getting to St George's Park – and that's got all sorts of security.
Whole thing is just mad. Pure greed.

Honestly have zero interest in the restarted league. No crowd. No interest.

At this point, I don't care about them winning the league – it was settled months ago. Null and void would have been an incredible laugh but there was always an outside chance of it happening.
The League and TV companies jumping all over this restart hammers home the point of contempt that they have for match-going fans and shows that if they had their way, this would be the new norm. It's sickening. I don't want to watch us play Villa in an empty Goodison – as much as I miss watching us play. I can't do it.

More annoyed that Talksport will stop being fantastic now they have football to talk about.
They always were or have you been on the moon for the last 3 month's. At least celebrations won't be as bad.
Our season finished at the start of Jan so difficult to get up for it now especially given the circumstances.

I don't get why you would go to Goodison and stand in Bullens road for example ? Not see any actual footy..
It's just weird.

I can't seem to understand how football has been given the go-ahead over other sports like tennis or cricket for example (where it's easy to maintain social distancing).

1. Kopite media influencers
2. A weak govt trying to deflect from their ineptitude by giving us back our national game
3. Greed from the EPL kingpins.
4. Muderscumpool FC. Any opportunity to kill a few more people and they're well up for it as long as it gives them the title.

It was never in any doubt in my mind.
Even if the league had finished they would have been declared champions. Null and void would have been hilarious but was extremely remote at best. Not sure it would even have been considered tbh
So a close contact sport like football can start in mid June, but a naturally socially distancing sport, cricket, has to wait until at least 1st August. Anyone would think money was involved.
