Will be nothing more than an extended pre season for every club bar those fighting relegation. All integrity went out of the window weeks ago. Oh well at least it’ll go down as the dampest squib of title celebrations ever known. Will also be a good way for the RS to gather more hatred from other neutral fans when their cult do their thing when they do win it, shame it will be at the cost of another couple of hundred lives.

Still looks like they the FA and co are doing there best to hope Liverpool win the league at Goodison [if Goodison] ,if the Derby ends up been weekend 20th June if in order-as a city lost at home and win for Liverpool v us wins the league, but city have not lost home/away for 5 years to arsenal in league

Tbh, I really don't care. Can't see me taking any interest.

It's just like the Confederation's Cup.

Can't see the season getting finished
The effort the league is going to with the apparent £4m testing, phased return to training and favourable briefings in the press, I’m pretty sure it’ll be finished. They’ve gone all in here. Plus a successful international comparison (Germany) adds to the need to finish.

I hope the game is moved somewhere else tbh

I think they have to, you’ll get some idiots who would try to turn up.

Im talking everton fans who haven’t had their fix since March, and I’m talking Liverpool fans who’d try to get close to the players etc if they won the league.

No reason why were special compared to everyone else, but using logic, I’d be pushing our game back. Will that happen? Probably not.

The league will want highly marketable fixtures to get some momentum going. The derby is perfect.

Will they? Or will they know fans are starving for any football?

Liverpool are winning the league regardless, so for me, winning the league against a no mark, then having a derby when there’s nothing else to be excited about makes most sense.

Maybe. But front loading bigger games will be attractive I think

I wonder how they can come up with a date with such certainty when new people are showing up as positive after every round of testing.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they only catch up the fixtures for those with a game in hand and get Big Red over the mathematical line and curtail the rest of it.

Has there been any news on the Championship resuming as well? Best of luck to the Premier League's legal team if they try and relegate 3 teams who have played all of their fixtures and try and promote 3 teams that haven't.

And what about the FA Cup? Is that coming back as well?

What a shambles.
