Leaves bad taste in the mouth for me this.

Maybe it wouldn't if she just said from the start she wanted him to pay for what he allegedly did and didn't spend months giving the message that she wanted justice, wanted to be heard and wanted her day in court.

If that was just a tactic to scare the accused and extract a bigger settlement then fair enough, perhaps it worked.

To me it just looks like she's sold out justice for a payday, if people say that's what she was after all along she'll find it hard to argue against it based upon her actions here.

You're very disturbed if you really have this take. The woman is a victim and had to put up with all that public scrutiny. She's helped expose Andrew for what he is. If she chooses that point to settle thats up to her surely.

If anyone can't get it into their head why a victim of severe sexual abuse would want to take the easy quicker way out, especially if they have had even the slightest experiance of the western legal system when a rich white male is involved, then they have no concept of the long term damage and trauma the victims suffer from for the rest of their lives.

I get the disappointment, I really do. I wanted to see the villains revealed and punished just as much as anyone else. But, to shift to victim shaming is really short sighted.

Apparently Jean-Luc Brunel killed himself yesterday
Daily Heil reporting that the cameras near his cell were “not working” as well…
