He's travelled, put a photo on his Instagram story before

Just seen Cenk has travelled/ Thought he got badly injured and was out for a month or two?
They said start of last month that he would miss the start of pre-season training because of that knee injury he basically got by blocking an attempted shot in his own area in the Turkey game ,but wouldnt need the op, so maybe not out as much as was expected, maybe a week or 2 back quicker

Just looking at the Schalke 04 website for this season's youth loan thread and came across their page about their training camp in Austria. A lot of people talk about attendances at German matches, how much more engaged clubs and fans are and ideas that could be useful over here. I thought it was interesting to see how a typical Bundesliga club treats the fan experience for their pre-season camp (used an online translator as I couldn't be bothered to do all that!):

For the 04th time FC Schalke 04 is setting up its training camp in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region from 26 July to 3 August. For the Schalke fans, who are once again travelling along in large numbers, the fan affairs department has compiled everything worth knowing about training, test matches and the leisure programme they have organised.

The training sessions take place on the sports field of SC Mittersill, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the city centre. There are also parking facilities for car drivers at the adjacent open-air swimming pool.

Current training times and everything worth knowing for fans are announced on twitter.com/s04fanbelange, facebook.com/s04fanbelange, instagram.com/s04fanbelange and the WhatsApp info channel (see box on the right). It should be noted that the training time for the next day is usually not announced by the sports management until the evening before and that the units are not fixed in advance for the entire duration of the stay in Austria.

As in previous years, the Mittersill caterers will take care of the catering for the Schalkers present and provide for them at the training ground. In addition, the Infomobile of the SFCV and the sales car of the S04 shop can be found on the Fan Mile. This year, the fan affairs department has produced a limited edition of beer mugs that will be sold during the training sessions.

On Monday, July 29th, the team of head coach David Wagner will play against FC Bologna from Italy, kick-off will take place at 6 pm in Kitzbühel. Four days later, on Friday, 2 August, it's 6 pm in Saalfelden (Saalfelden Arena) against Villarreal CF. Tickets for both games will be sold at the shop car at the training ground in Mittersill. The fan affairs department will offer a bus shuttle service for both matches at a price of 12 euros, for which the registration form must be used.

Welcome Evening
On Saturday 27 July at 6 p.m., the Fan Affairs Department will be hosting a Welcome Evening on the Fan Mile in the Mittersill Stadium. There those present can find out more about what's going on at the training camp and what is on offer in the region. All those interested are requested to register in advance using the registration form.
Blue-White Night

A highlight in every training camp for many of the accompanying fans is traditionally the Blue-White Night. This time it will take place on Tuesday, July 30th from 5 pm at the valley station of the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg am Wildkogel. There will be a large outdoor area with catering. There will be a stage program with DJ and interviews as well as event modules, autograph tents and a photo campaign, the team will join in the course of the evening. As last year, registration for the Blue and White Night is not necessary!

At the event area there are enough parking spaces available for those arriving by car.

City festival
From Friday (26.7.) to Sunday (28.7.) the annual town festival takes place in Mittersill. On all three days a varied programme is offered with live music, concerts, processions, stage performances and the children's mile.

Excursion and leisure programme
For the training camp week, the fan affairs department has organised a wide-ranging programme of excursions and local activities. For better planning, binding registrations will be accepted in advance via the registration form!

Sunday, 28 July, 1 p.m.: Schalke kicks. On the sports field in Hollersbach, all interested Schalkers will play a small football tournament
Sunday, 28 July, 19.04 o'clock: At the 1st cinema evening we show "Our Team - Nossa Chape". The Brazilian club Chapecoense crashes on its way to its biggest final. On the way to Medellín to compete against `Atlético Nacional', the team's plane crashes into the mountains. Miraculously, six of the 77 passengers, including three Chapecoense players, survive. The film traces the aftermath of the disaster and shows how the club has resurrected, how the relatives and the city of Chapo deal with their grief and how the citizens step in to bring their club back to the top. The entrance fee is 8 Euro.
Tuesday, 30 July, 10 am and 1 pm: Segway tour. The meeting point is at the National Park Centre in Mittersill, after a briefing the city and its surroundings are explored for an hour and a half. Participation fee is 40 Euro per person.
Wednesday, 31 July: Excursion to Lake Wolfgang. Start is at 9 o'clock at the national park center, from where it goes first by bus to St. Gilgen. From there the journey continues with the ship over the lake to St. Wolfgang, from where the return journey takes place at 14 o'clock again by bus. The participation fee including the boat tour is 35 Euro per person.
Wednesday, 31 July: Esport. At 1 p.m. S04 fans will have the opportunity to compete in the FIFA19 tournament at the Hotel Kogler in Mittersill and also play against the Schalker Esport professional Tim Latka! The participation fee is 5 Euro.
Wednesday, 31 July, 19.04 hrs: Like last year, the 2nd cinema evening will again feature "Rudi Assauer. Macher. Man. Legend. shown, the admission fee amounts to 8 euro.
Thursday, 1 August: At 19.04 o'clock the legendary royal blue pub quiz starts again in the Hotel Kogler. In a relaxed atmosphere knowledge around the S04 is in demand, of course there are beautiful prizes to be won again. The participation fee amounts to 5 euro.

Knappenkids Program
For the very young Schalkers who spend their summer holidays in the training camp, the fan affairs department organizes their own program in cooperation with the Knappenkids. The Knappenkids programme also accepts binding registrations via the registration form!

Tuesday. 30 July, 10 a.m.: Trekking with llamas and alpacas. Meeting point is the 4 MOTION TEAM office (Sigmund-Thun-Straße 18, 5710 Kaprun). The animals invite to an adventure trek in the adventurous mountain world.
Where gold prospectors tried their luck centuries ago, the Knappenkids can wash gold and search for precious stones. There is a camp at the crystal clear mountain stream and grilled marshmallows. The lamas and alpacas carry the treasures they find home with them - Knappenkids as real gold seekers. The return is planned around 14.30 o'clock, the cost contribution amounts to 15 euro.
Thursday, 1 August, approx. 12 o'clock: Meet&Greet with Tim Latka. After the morning training of the S04 pros, Esport professional Tim Latka will have 20 Knappenkids available for a Meet&Greet. You can ask him anything you always wanted to know about an Esportler and a real Schalker boy. Afterwards there will be a small parcours where the kids can show their skills on the ball - and of course Tim has to get through! Participation is free, but registration is required.
Friday 2 August, 10 am: Adventure golf for kids. At the Sportpark Woferlgut (Kroessenbach 40, A-5671 Bruck/Großglockner) the ball is played over distances of up to 24 metres through large boulders and streams are crossed. 12 different lanes promise a lot of variety on the 2000 square metre park-like course. The participation fee is 5 Euro.
Obviously, we'd currently be lucky to get more than a busload to our current training camps - and it is a lot easier for German fans to travel to Austria. Nevertheless for me it's striking to see the numbers of fans who have travelled down from Gelsenkirchen (or wherever) in recent years and the pro-active engagement from the club.

Anybody booked match tickets for bremen match yet?
No official announcement from Everton on tickets yet, but expected any day.
Bremen originally said there was no Everton section, but Everton have asked for it.
You could always pay on the day I suppose.
