Pre-season 2017

If in qualifying rounds of Europa these early games will form part of squad rotation and be part of the build up for the next Prem season.

Talk of 'only' a month break after the round of scheduled internationals/WC qualifiers when this season ends if we finish seventh before players return. If we finish higher and go straight to qualifying group it'll mean a different approach to pre season.

Agreeing to go to Tanzania must be a ball ache - perhaps let the U23s go - who may have their own pre season arrangements.

When do we announce pre season games, is it June? Don't fancy Morecambe again, not since they got rid of Frontier Land anyway.

I would've thought we would've went straight into a group given we have a decent record in Europe over the last ten years. Only thought west ham and Southampton had to play qualifiers cause they don't have much of a European pedigree.

Europa will be our pre season for the first team squad (providing Leicester don't balls it up)

19/06/17: First and second qualifying round draws
29/06/17: First qualifying round, first leg
06/07/17: First qualifying round, second leg
13/07/17: Second qualifying round, first leg
14/07/17: Third qualifying round draw
20/07/17: Second qualifying round, second leg
27/07/17: Third qualifying round, first leg
03/08/17: Third qualifying round, second leg

04/08/17: Play-off draw
17/08/17: Play-off round, first leg
24/08/17: Play-off round, second leg

I might be wrong but 7th we start 3rd qualifying round and prem starts 12th August maybe fit in a game before or after

No mate.

If the RS balls up top 4, it could cost us in Europa if ManU get top 4 instead. Need 5 CL spots to get out of qualifying and go straight to group.

3 games - an away match to a Scottish second div. club, a behind closed doors tilt with Tranmere at Goodison and the strange one in Africa. That should set us on the right path for Europe .

No, as i understand it, 3 EL places. And seeing as Man U won league cup and Chelsea and Arsenal are in F A cup final that leaves 5,6 and 7th qualify, even if Arsenal win the F A cup as they'll likely be 5 or 6th

Are shoot just reread your post. Soz got it wrong. Watching little boy blue and its scrambled my head. So sad

What's it like, how long is ferry to Zanzibar?

What's stone town like?

And the islands off dar, bongoyo day trip?

Hot mate! Timing of the trip is winter so at least down to a moderate 28 degrees. Great time of year!

Zanzibar is a couple hours by ferry and can be a day trip if you choose. Stone town makes for nice pictures... guess if you gave it a lick of paint it wouldn't be the same.

If you want to spend a few days at the beach then Zanzibar is good, otherwise the islands bongoyo and Mbudya are the best. Quick to get there and can spend the day comfortably.
