Honda has his heart set on Milan so doubt that one. Also think the Barca may need a bit of time and moses is too similar to kev ? May prefer another C M

Moses and Honda would finish off this window superbly IMO

I would have been happy if those two were the ONLY signings we made this window (when compared to other windows). Flogging Heitinga would be fine by me as much as I love his fist pumps geeing the crowd up, could see Naismith going as well if there are any takers, just too slow to fit into Martinez's style imo.

If Honda and Moses came in, I think there would be a very dangerous chance of there being a feel good factor on this forum and the club in general.

If that happens and Felli and Baines are still here, then you bet your <insert ethnicity here> @ss there will be a feel good factor / Jizz everywhere.

I'll repost my sage input from earlier today:

My mates ma's missus Maria met Martinez Monday.

She says he's opting for a 4-1-5*

-------------Timothy------------
Seamus--Phil--Milkman--Leighton
-------------Fellaini-------------
Moses-Kev-Kone-Steven-Deulofeu

*All false 9s, in Mighty Duck formation

Assuming that Martinez sticks with his lopsided 3-4-3, then I'd imagine something like this when in possession:

----------------------Robles------------------------

---------Jagielka-------Alcaraz------Distin--------

Coleman------Gibson----Fellaini-------------------

------------------Pienaar-------------------Baines

Mirallas------------------Kone--------------------

Then this without the ball:

----------------------Robles------------------------

Coleman---Jagielka-------Alcaraz------Distin----

---------------Gibson----Fellaini------------Baines

--Mirallas----------Pienaar-------Kone-------------

------------------------------------------------------

SUBS
Howard
Duffy
Osman
Barkley
Deulofeu
Anichebe
Jelavic

Then again, I can see Heitinga and maybe Naismith & Gueye being shipped out, so that should allow us to bring another centre mid and defender. I'd use Deulofeu as an impact sub and start him in Cup games. Then after Xmas, play him regularly.

its the future mate

The fact that so many formations are suggested does show versatility and the combos show our squad is enlarging. This is good news for us.

With this squad, Pienaar can be swapped with Ossie or Barkley. If we get another winger, for example Moses who we've been linked with, then swap out Deufoleu.
