Tom Cleverley 8/10 - versatile, tidy, free, reliable, international
Gerard Deulofeu 8.5/10 - young, exciting, unpredictable, dynamic, game-changer
Aaron Lennon 8/10 - tireless, determined, experienced, fast, international
Ramiro Funes Mori - 7/10 - young, winner, unproven, international
Leandro Rodriguez - 6.5/10 - unknown, unproven, acrobatic, inexpensive, wildcard
Mason Holgate - 7/10 - young, inexperienced, future, potential

Every signing has some positives and some risks - should be exciting to see how they fit in and perform.

Balanced, well thought out post.

The Clev - 5/10
Gerard Deulofeu - 8/10
Aaron Lennon - 5/10
Ramiro Funes Mori - 1/10
Leandro Rodriguez - 1/10
Mason Holgate - 2/10

Averages out to a 4/10 window. Nice one on getting that creative player Martinez. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Cleverly and Deulofeu are both very good signings, especially given Tom was free and Geri was ~4mil.

Keeping hold of key players is always nice but it's the least I expect. Though in fairness to the manager and the board, they acted impeccably throughout the Stones saga.

After our initial two signings, the manager identified three positions that needed to be addressed, back-up striker, cover at CB and a creative midfielder. Rodriguez was a punt so I can't really say, Mori is also unknown and the fee seems quite high so will have to wait and see. Not bringing in a creative midfielder was massively disappointing. So from the three targets, we've got a punt, an unkown quantity and missed out on the third.

Had it not been for the previous two signings and keeping hold of McCarthy, Mirallas and Stones (and Naismith ;)), this defo would have been down as a crap window. Which means it averages out to an alright window. 6/10.

**EDIT**

Forgot about Lennon. Also decent business given our wingers are all made of glass, he actually wants to play for us and it keeps McGeady out of the side.

Cleverley was an excellent piece of business.
Deulofeu; based on one performance against Barnsley, looks more mature in his decision making. If that rings true over a greater sample size and against better opposition then the fee is a bargain for a player of undoubted talent but a lot to prove in terms of end product.
Lennon offers directness and a different approach to our other nominal wide players. He wants to play for us and that can only be a good thing.

The other signings are a complete lottery and if you are rating them out of 10 based on absolutely nothing you need to take a long hard look at yourself.

Standing firm on Stones and sticking to our guns in the face of the state of modern 'football' and signing McCarthy and the mercurial, and allegedly 'wantaway' Mirallas to new deals is wonderful news for the club. Proves the plan is in place and that despite 90% of you all wishing for us to AAAAAARGH SIGN EVERYONE NOW BOBBY and some foreign bloke with a iffy character record has signed for Stoke AND THEY'VE GOT MORE MONEY THAN US - SORT IT OUT KENWRIGHTOUT, it has been a good summer for the club. Can't argue with that - though some of you will as there are agendas to meet and all.

@davek @MoutsGoat @the esk

I think the best product of this window is we now have options of genuine width across the pitch

Along with pace out wide that can double up or work well with Coleman and Baines.

Lennon and Delafeo for combined £8 million
Is phenomenal.

That's on top of Pienaar if we can get him fit

And Mirallas.

Pleased here.

Width means chances created and or Space in the middle for Lukaku and Barkley

Actually they got relegated because their defence was decimated by injuries the year they went down and combined with a cup run to win it they couldn't cope, if they'd gone out the cup early OR they'd not been using 3rd and 4th string defenders they'd almost certainly have stayed up that season

Alcaraz was injured.
