I was as frustrated as the next Blue during the game yesterday. But overall it was a great result. Not just that, but seeing Mirallas rested, and Lukaku and Barkley kept fresh on the bench shows how serious Roberto's taking the cup, IMO. Next week will be such a great test of our progress this season. Last time we went to Arsenal, we dominated them pure and simple. Do it again, and get the right result, and we'll be set up perfectly for the next couple of months.
I've been disappointed with recent performances/ results but to be fair it seems that's purely down to fatigue. The fixture list is looking a bit less rough, and we're getting good recovery time. CL is looking a long shot even if we win the majority of our remaining games.
But, we'll do Arsenal this weekend, and we'll win the cup- then on a European tour for next season. We're on the march...
