If our neighbours win this weekend at Southampton then a top 4 spot will then become totally unrealistic IMO. Until then, I shall believe there is still hope.

Oh god. It's that time of year when I want Saints to win isn't it?

And I really think it's unrealistic now to be fair. But hey, you never know.

Our season seems over because we have no chance of 4th. 5th is unlikely and we have to beat arsenal at home to go through in the FA cup... We havnt played well since the emirates while struggling to score and I can't remember the last clean sheet we kept in the league. Our centre mids look tired and half our 1st 11 are coming back from injuries.

Taking into account our results over the last month or so does anyone thinkwe have now weathered the storm, and it is now onwards and upwards ? Personally I think the West ham game could be a watershed for the rest of the Season.

Our remaining fixtures and my Mystic Meg predictions are:

Crystal Pal H (to be arranged) 3 pts
West Ham H 3 pts
Arsenal A (FAC)
Newcastle A (to be rearranged) 1 pt (would love to win this)
Cardiff H 3 pts
Swansea A 1 pt
Fulham A 3 pts
Arsenal H 1 pt
Sunderland A 1 pt
Red Mancs H 3 pts (Snarling Goodison)
Hull A 1 pt

So we would end up with 65 points - we may win or lose some of the predicted draws, but they will probably balance out.

Tottenham have to go to Chelsea, RS, WBA, Stoke, and have Arsenal at home.
Red Mancs have to go to WBA, West Ham, Barcodes and GOODISON. They have Citeh and RS at home

I am optimistic that we can bridge the 5 point gap (with game in hand)

And we're out of coffee.

I disagree .We played well at both Spurs and Chelsea . It´s always the same ,like a seesaw this site ,3 wins on the bounce and we´ll be unstoppable again . I can understand the worry but quite honestly some of it really is OTT. 5th or and out side chance of 4th and a wembley trip within our grasp . An outstanding first season for bobby if you ask me . Some on here really do need some perspective .

We have 12 league games remaining and there's only 10 here?

Think you've missed out Southampton and City.

A team is only ever as good as their last match.

Because the reality is that the season will probably peter out and we'll end up 6/7th after a wonderful start. And we'll get knocked out of the FA cup by Arsenal too.

With the exception of the RS and City away, we could have and should have taken something from every game this season. Both Arsenal and Chelsea mentioned that we were the best team to visit their grounds, We won at old trafford. Stoke at home and the first half against Newcastle showed a kind of fluidity I haven't seen in years. We are playing a lot of younger players. We resigned a world class LB. We have been undone by expecting too much from Barkley and even Lukaku as well as a lack of depth upfront. We'll have a respectable league finish and hopefully do well in the cup. The problems that are hindering the squad now are not a mystery and should be fixable in the summer. For me, it's still a case of so far so good.
