It was hard to watch. especially the 2nd half, but the defence held up well enough.

We played crap, rode our luck and got the 3 pts......Probably played much better in other games and lost.....so move on to the next...

Heitinga's performance was summed up for me in 60 seconds of play in the first half. Long ball came over, he let it bounce and Pompey's forwards almost made a complete mug of him. Next thing you know, he's zipped a pretty good 40 yard ball to Saha who tucks it away nicely. Going forward Heitinga no doubt has plenty to offer, I'm just concerned about his defensive consistency. But we shall see - players do need settling in time.
