I still believe this is the most unlikely option as, rightly or wrongly, money talks and especially in one of the wealthier of London's boroughs.

Regardless of his character, the withdraw of a potential £1bn investment will reach those in the corridors in power and will strongly test their will.

It won't be smooth and nor will it be quick - there'll be showmanship from each side - but I believe his visa will be granted and this will continue.

If I'm wrong however, then I do feel that Chelsea will be at some real risk as he will not facilitate a cheap sale or take their sizeable debt.

Of course the downside is that Liverpool fans will be delighted with this news. Anything which makes them happy has to be bad.
 
Why does everyone think this is the end of Chelsea? Can he not buy a friend to run the club from England for him whilst still being an owner?

Imagine if he backs out of Chelsea and takes his money?

Would they even survive at this point? Would their fan base dwindle or will they retain them?

At this moment they're a genuine global brand. Would be interesting if all those fans worldwide stuck with them

If he backed out, he could sell them for well north of £Billion anyrate.
 
This is probably just the Tories making it look like they've done something to the Russians - ie: pick on the one that everyone has heard of, except that we haven't picked on him because we knew he'd be able to get an Israeli passport within about three seconds.

Bad week for them for sure, what with the ever growing hatred of plastics and what happened with Roseanne, racists are being pushed into a corner too. All this is attacking the very core foundations of what it is like to be a Chelsea supporter.

Oh well.... :dance:
 
Loooooool, probably will come to nothing but at least the racist bells will be getting horrible flashbacks about the absolute nothing club they were before.
