Some very good news today. The cast has been taken off, and I can start putting a bit of weight on it so still walking with crutches but getting there now. But the best news is, is that the consultants said that I should be able to play the beautiful game again, even maybe for next season!

They say it may be a bit sore in the winter and wet weather but should be fine!

Next season???

Ignore them mate, probably the same person who claimed Mikael Forssell had a dodgy knee.

Fancy a mini footy tournament on Friday?, new Kirkby sports centre.... 8pm) (y)

[Poor language removed]!!! If I wasn't at work, I'd drive 130 miles to JFK, hop on a plane, fly over, drive the length of the country to play with you guys tonight!

Damn work!!!

What a [Poor language removed] up leg and ankle looks like after being taken out of plaster:

Ouch. Reminds me of eight weeks I had in plaster with a snapped Achilles tendon. Did you have to do the 3x a day injections in the thigh?

Hope it continues to get better for you - don't try to push it too far too fast (speaks from experience).

Yeh one of those where I read the first page and thought 'thats just like that movie!'

and posted and found out its up like page 7 and maybe 12 months later.

Hows the leg anyway?
