In his head he has gone already; I believe he was told last summer do one more year and see where we are with the new investment, then we'll talk again but if we haven't delivered you can go for the right money.

That's where we are. The question now is what is the right valuation? Personally, I think it'll be cash plus one or possibly two players that is presented as undisclosed. Anything approaching a combined real £80m it's a done deal.

Just do it quickly and move on.

Also Everton should say that no deal they make will involve a single pound of their money going to that rat Raiola

A lovely sentiment but completely unrealistic and naive. Taking the moral high ground with agents is both hypocritical of any professional football club and a surefire way of ensuring you don't sign players or keep hold of players.

I'm sure a man as rich as Mosh has been involved in deals that involve much bigger rats than Raiola during his pre-Everton career and will have no issue dealing with that sort if it moves the right deal forward.

Lukaku will probably go in a deal worth £80M of which Everton will end up with £55M.....in stages.....before tax.

Depends if we sell him before that Hanson lad from Monaco is sold. He will be the world record this summer but Rom may beat the current mark before him.

Also, take off what we still owe Chelsea, minus whatever make weights they foist on dumb and dumber.
We'll be lucky to get 56M and double our money

We won't have to take off what we 'still owe' Chelsea.

It doesn't work like that.

If Kenwright is involved in any way, we'll be lucky to get 50p for him.

I mean, we can slate BK for loads, but one thing we don't do is sell our players cheap.

Stones - a British (perhaps world?) record fee for a defender

Rodwell, Lescott, Fellaini etc.

Lot of jokes about the old Kenwright Elstone combo but let's be real, we have never been mugged off on fees received (as pants as those two might be at other things). Once Kenwright finally leaves those who want to remember him fondly will remember his public speaking (such as his speech for the 96) and the sales of the likes of Lescott, Fellaini, Rodwell, Stones, Naismith etc. and how we totally ripped other teams off.
