Couple of supporters who were shouting to Kenwright at the end of the game to get shut of Silva - not being too abusive to him - until one of Bill's companions in the Director's seats made a "Yap yap yap" hand gesture to them and they went berserk (rightly in my opinion). Some foul language like but the guy provoked them by the stupid action.

Silva has to go. Been on the cards for months and seeing how Spurs were so much more ruthless and determined in resolving their own managerial problems, the Everton board really have no other option.

That's part the problem that kenwright is still here,he needs shipping asap too

It we can get poch or the soon to be redundant Emery sure. Or indeed any decent manager

My fear is that we would replace him with Moyes, Hughes, or some other similar useless dinosaur

I want him out right now, but not without at least the semblence of a decent replacement

....if it’s not the obvious (Moyes), it’s only conjecture who it could be, but the Dutch and South American market is where he might consider.

When I wake up and check the sports news, I fully expect to see that he’s not been sacked. If that’s the case, I think it means the club intends to let him see out the season. I’m not confident that we can see off relegation with this man in charge, so for me, that’s a problem. I get the ‘who comes in as his replacement’ point, but something needs to change. We have a decent squad but it’s not responding to this manager. At the very least, we need to hear something from the club regarding its view on current form. Ideally, we’ll be sounding out possible replacements - Pochettino is available, and we need to be talking to him if nothing else. Whether he’d come is a different matter, but we can’t continue as we are.

With Leicester and the RS as the next 2 games, and a guaranteed humiliation in both, the Everton hierarchy are just delaying the inevitable.

Look at the upcoming fixtures, it's a nightmare.

Do we want to appoint someone who then loses four of five on the trot?

There's a ten day window after the New Year's Day massacre at the etihad. Transfer windows would be open. That's the time.

The Leicester game will be the one .
If we lose that is.
If not now, never will be,cant keep seeing if we can draw/win the next game,to then see him have another go till the next game when we lose, going around in circles, saying that Everton just annoy the hell out of me and said it before if we do get someone else and we lose the games we maybe look like comming up,people will say a change has not worked when the person could not have had a harder start,Month to late for me if we did it

I voted No, purely because I trust Silva more in his ability to finish the season on an average mid table points total than I do the clubs ability to make a good appointment mid season

if they miraculously have a good coach lined up then by all means show him the door NOW

With no evidence and based on blind faith. He lost to Sheff Utd and Norwich at home and never came back from losing position for 24 times. He would relegate this football club.

It’s hard to ask for cool heads tonight; I couldn’t be bothered to go into what is wrong with Everton (again). A million other pages and reasons probably cover it......it ain’t just Silva though is it? Lucky to still be here as it is, sack him tonight, no magic formula to arrive in that dugout that gets say us twelve points between here and January.

We are rancid, from top to bottom. Throw in bad luck, injuries and every other realistic excuse that’s fair, I’ll multiply it by a team that has a lack of desire, urgency and belief. Poor signings, a predictable style of play and a rule that sees us 10 seconds away from giving away possession or another mistake, it takes more than patience to support Everton.

He’s hanging by a thread, if he goes it masks many others failures too. My point is, it ain’t just him.....plenty of others, whether in the boardroom or on the pitch, look as equally out of their depth as this lad does on the sidelines. If he stays, it’s a week by week existence. Builds pressure and the one thing this club does is when it gets tough, is fail to deliver. He’ll get sacked, no doubt, and those that make the decision will say it wasn’t good enough. It’s just a matter when.

Fair enough, but my point is, it’s not just him who isn’t. It’s a long list......will Baxendale say she hasn’t done enough? Will Brands? Will Kenwright? Moshiri can’t just throw the towel in......or can he? Players won’t be saying they aren’t good enough will they.

Managing Everton, Owning Everton, Playing for Everton, Supporting Everton.......should be something you enjoy, embrace and love. It isn’t. Never do those things align......and until they do, it’ll be what it is. Aye, sack Silva tonight , he can’t complain, but it doesn’t fix much of what is wrong. Everton test you, always have and always will.
