Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium capacity should be...

You don't build a stadium for league cup second round games. United don't fill OT, Arsenal certainly don't fill the Emirates. But at quids for a quid and adults for 10-15 then you get 50k for those sort of games. It's all about pricing a game on its merits.

We could have 47k season tickets. 3k away fans. 6-7k general sale. 3-4k hospitality and commercial.

It's very achievable with the right marketing, adequate planning and a half decent team.

3 massive problems right there

Appreciate the club sending out surveys looking for input from the fans. But I hope this isn't like the recent badge fiasco where we basically end up with the same stadium as beforehand o_O

As many have already said it should maximise matchday revenue, be intimidating, stand out from the norm, integrate with area/history and be affordable for all.

And no more obstructed bloody views.

58k with potential to increase to 65k.

And a designated safe standing area behind the goals as the new Gwladys street lower.

I would be happy with 52.000 provided its built in such a way another 8k seats added in 3 or 4 years time is taken into account on the design

"In terms of capacity, 99 per cent of respondents wanted the new stadium’s capacity to be 50,000 or more"

But what do you think the capacity should be?

Also ran a Twitter poll for wider sample.

Should be? We all, most of us, know what it should be...and it starts with a 6

Will be - now that's a different matter

52,000.

When the uproar starts...if the project actually gets that far, still only an each way bet as yet, this is Everton we're talking about here.
They will wheel out selective stats from that vanilla survey

You wanted a close to the pitch fortress? 52,000 gives you this (so does a number that starts with a 6)

99% voted for over 50,000. - what's your problem
99% would have when, 90+% also voted for over 60,000.

OK, but to do the 60K thing we would have had to abandon the Goodison Legacy that you all voted for and paid over the odds for extra finance

Moshiri, on his own, or on 'somebody elses' behalf suddenly plays the shining white knight and publically puts in XX million of his own cash...(look at me, where's your blue bill now) = finance teetering, whole thing circling the plug hole.

How to ruin your own argument

The soft soap they're spreading is to programme is ready to accept a smaller, cheaper stadium.

Nsno if we want to plan to be the best. Don't fall for it.

61878 and price it accordingly to fill it
If you price entrance 'cheap enough to fill it' you might not make enough money (in simple terms) to pay for it...or be able to justify the low entrance cost to the lender(s)...you want HOW MUCH off me, but you're going to let the punters in for less than the amount required to pay me (again in simple terms) back
On your bike sunshine
#balancing act

I don't think we could. We'll maybe for the derby and the games against the contenders but certainly not for a 2nd round league cup tie !
given that we can only ever play one 2nd round league cup tie per year, I don't think that should be a valid barometer of capacity
