exactly, if i thought it'd get anywhere i'd vote Plaid Cymru like i do in the locals, but Labour are the only party with a chance of beating the Tories, and they're family orientated where as David Cam was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and cannot grasp the concept, or struggles of the working class! He wants to make the rich richer and poor poorer the snobby cnutyou go girl
i personally have always voted lib dem as it is the only party who will defeat the evil that is conservatives down here in tractor country

Like this is a thread about politics and they're not allowed because people start swearing at each other because they tend to be even more miopic and blinkered than they are with football teams.

We used to be able to have a decent talks/meltfests about politics on here, shame.
Religion used to be swerved though, along with US topics back in the day.
reminisces*
power corrupts . . and absolute power absolutely corrupts.
the new labour party has had so long in power that they have become complacent.
Problem is, I don't know who to vote for !
What I would like is for us to be a 'marginal'. That way politicians become interested in your vote. In the past, the labour party has not been to interested in Liverpool because they always knew they would get our votes come what may. And the tories were not interested because they knew they wouldn't. If you are in a marginal seat, they suddenly become really interested.
Power to the people
[Poor language removed] . . .I've just fell off me soap box.
In all fairness as long as noone has sly digs that result in abuse from me <hint hint> i don't see the problem. Freedom of speech and all that, and those who don't agree with whats being said, how about ignore it instead of trying to provoke a response?
I thought the reason they got banned was because although you're right what you say they just always got out of hand regardless.
But as this thread is still ope here's a question : why do we have polictical parties who oppose each other than a collection of seperate MPs who get together as one and do what is best for the country?
