you go girl

i personally have always voted lib dem as it is the only party who will defeat the evil that is conservatives down here in tractor country
exactly, if i thought it'd get anywhere i'd vote Plaid Cymru like i do in the locals, but Labour are the only party with a chance of beating the Tories, and they're family orientated where as David Cam was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and cannot grasp the concept, or struggles of the working class! He wants to make the rich richer and poor poorer the snobby cnut

i believe all politicians to be scum who are in it for personal gain
but cameron is a prize doozy

Like this is a thread about politics and they're not allowed because people start swearing at each other because they tend to be even more miopic and blinkered than they are with football teams.

people get far to upset with minor things on all forums
they should just smile and move on if they don't agrre with the post's and can't contain their anger.

power corrupts . . and absolute power absolutely corrupts.
the new labour party has had so long in power that they have become complacent.
Problem is, I don't know who to vote for !
What I would like is for us to be a 'marginal'. That way politicians become interested in your vote. In the past, the labour party has not been to interested in Liverpool because they always knew they would get our votes come what may. And the tories were not interested because they knew they wouldn't. If you are in a marginal seat, they suddenly become really interested.

Power to the people

[Poor language removed] . . .I've just fell off me soap box.

no-ones vote really counts as the spin doctors rule

In all fairness as long as noone has sly digs that result in abuse from me <hint hint> i don't see the problem. Freedom of speech and all that, and those who don't agree with whats being said, how about ignore it instead of trying to provoke a response?

I thought the reason they got banned was because although you're right what you say they just always got out of hand regardless.

But as this thread is still ope here's a question : why do we have polictical parties who oppose each other than a collection of seperate MPs who get together as one and do what is best for the country?

Another question to add to yours DBRAG, why, when we have a reigning monarch, do we need a prime minister? Surely her maj should rule the country and decide whats best for her people!

It started off that way over here and then, naturally enough I suppose, they coalesce into interest groups and then parties, like the Whigs and Tories. It's *interesting* to see what's happening in the States right now with this so called Tea Party Movement. They're fiscal conservatives but many say they are social liberals (or maybe they're just concealing their Klan hoods well?). Anyway, if their power base holds that could lead to the rise of more independents over there as they dont appear to be aligned to the GOP or Democrats. What America does today....
