He was a beaten man at Spurs, everything seemed to collapse for him in a few months. I would rather have a bumptious confident, big headed successful geezer like Rafael. Stick him in and bury the past for a brighter future. Imagine the Gladys St roar Rafael BENITEZ. It kind of rollls off the tongue. No rude replies please; be constructive.

He plays boring football and we hate him.

Hows that for constructive?

I think nowadays there's no real Red and Blue loyalty, and it's weird - really strange - that Mourinho can go between rivals so easily; though we won't see a direct transfer between the LFC and EFC somehow I'm ok with this idea, apart from one thing. What was his playing style like? If we see anti-football defensive crap we will back to square one. I didn't watch the reds that much in those years, but I kind of felt like they depended on Gerrard and Alonso doing something great, and they always had good goalscorers to power through matches. We need a style to dominate weaker teams and a counter-attacking style to play against Man CIty Liverpool etc. WHat would the tactics be like really?

And he has 3.5 years left of a contract worth 8.5m a year, thats 29m.

Hence me saying im sure people would try and negotiate.
Do the club who take him on have to pay Pochettino or Spurs? I may only be a small town lawyer, but if Spurs haven't got anything for him to do, then surely he should be able to leave to seek his employment elsewhere? Or is it some elaborate consulting period before his contract comes to an end? I'd have thought Spurs would want that drain on their resources off the books quick smart.

I assumed it would be like Moonhead being paid 2 shillings and 6 for his Dutch national team gig whilst Everton make it up to his many millions a year.

I dont know mate.

None of it makes sense to me.

How can he be sacked, but not sacked? How can Spurs dictate what happens next if hes been sacked? So many questions that I dont have an answer for.

Despite him getting sacked by Spurs his stock as high as its ever been.

He has his choice of jobs over the next few months.

Arsenal, United, Bayern, Barca, Real all could be in the market for a new manager soon.

If hes a smart man, hes waiting for a proper job, if hes stupid, then Welcome to Everton Poch.
You know what football is like, no big job is available atm and might not be for 6 months and that’s a long long time in footy.

WE ARE A BIG CLUB

I do know it would be totally Everton to have to pay an exorbitant fee for an out of work manager though.

Therefore, I look forward to seeing the MauriciosGoat name making an appearance in the near future.
