Playing like Arsenal

Player Valuation: £1.5m
We pass the ball around ok, but if you look at the Arsenal team they pass the ball around but the movement is very good and they make the passing of the ball very easy. They do not care if the defenders are near by they make the pass.

When we have the ball at times the players do not move into space and we pass the ball side ways too much.

If you look at the first and 4th Arsenal goals, they were created by quick passing and good movement. Maybe our players are not quick enough.

The amount of times baines has the ball on the wing and he does not cross it in. Coleman yesterday had a lot of time on the right wing but would not take his man on. Arsenal on the other hand were crossing the balls in on both wings.

Their build up play is also much quicker than ours, they have players willing to shoot, and crucially, they are clinical and take their chances in front of goal.

RM may have been our manager for 10 months, is no excuse for not scoring goals - they players have been playing football for years. RM can not spoon feed the players, and they must take responsibility and make correct decisions on the pitch.

Players are in a good positions to shoot and never do.

Baines and Pienaar just want to do fancy flicks, which is fine if we are wining by 2 goals. When the score is 0-0, they seem reluctant to put the ball in the box at times.

Pienaar has got to the stage where he can only play a subs role and come on for the last 20 minutes. Looks like his legs have gone.

My point being that Wenger has had years to get that team playing the way they do, Martinez has had one proper transfer window and less than a full season to do impart his methods on the players.

think the fact they have an attacking mid who cost £42m whereas the other three attackers are all £20m rated players.

whilst ours is a young striker on loan, someone from the accademy, and two wingers that cost a combined £10m. all our backups are free or on loan as well.

of course arsenal's movement and attack is going to better, our's should be terrible with the amount of money we've spent.

Arsenal have been mastering this type of play for 9 yrs ffs...whilst also throwing mass millions at the players suited to doing it.

We'v been doing it for 10months with with the players who've been doing it differently for 9yrs.

Christ on a bike.....

Arsenal are [Poor language removed], wanna play likeBayern, we need to do more pressing. We lost because we forgot how to attully tackle and let them have the ball with zero pressure

...and a lot of our players are getting a bit long in the tooth to be hugely receptive and/or adaptable to such a fundamental change in 'style'. The mind might be willing, but the body isn't.

As well as Ozil costing £42m, Arsenal's plan B was a £12m striker.

Our Plan B involved bringing on Osman and McGeady.

Amateur playing a high line and passing out from the back we don't have the players to do this. Is the reason we have so many one v ones at the back. All it takes is one good ball and the opposition are in. Also you need pace in midfield and attack which we don't have
