Tyler Onyango not on the bench today for 12th placed Stockport who lost 2-1 at Lincoln.

Jenson Metcalfe seems to have nailed down a regular starting place for Chesterfield. Another 90 minutes today as they won 5-2 at Morecambe. Chesterfield are 6th.

Francis Okoronkwo was back on the bench for Salford away at Colchester. He came on after 89 minutes as his side held on to a 2-1 advantage. Salford are 13th.

A clean sheet for Billy Crellin. Accrington drew 0-0 at home to Walsall. Accrington are 20th.

Eli Campbell was suspended after last week's red. Ross County won 2-1 without him.

Reece Welch on the bench again for Deinze today. Currently losing 2-1. He hasn't played a minute yet this season.

…..he really never kicked-on from looking a real prospect some years ago. Despite his size he’s looked uncompetitive when I’ve watched him in recent times.

….i’m certainly not against loans per se, I just think at a club like ours history suggests we don’t send our best academy prospects out. We’ve hardly ever brought a goalkeeper through, I’m old enough to remember Andy Rankin being a more than able deputy for Gordon West, so it’s a bit of an unknown for keepers.

….they were indeed, although Osman and Barkley had serious injuries at key stage in their youth development. Ironic that Barkley and Gordon hardly set the world alight in their loan spells.
