What does it say that we can't nominate a young player based upon first team appearances!

It is where DM is concerned our team is like Dads army - Howard - Neville - Osman - Distan - even Jags getting near 30 so he needs a younger set up soon!

I know Baines has been more consistent but Fellaini has been our difference in most games this season. Coleman has been outstanding when he's been called upon. For me, Mirallas would have gotten in my top 3 if he had stayed off the treatment table more.

For young player it was a bit difficult to choose with most of our young talents not really getting a chance and far down in the pecking order. However for me it has to be Oviedo, done a great job when called upon e.g Norwich at home and has put in a few great performances. Duffy get's my second because of his rock solid performance for the U21's and Barkley gets my 3rd purely because of the talent he shows although he hasn't really impressed many neutrals this season.

or late 20's, i think if Mirallas had to get a full season he would have pushed Baines and Fellaini for player
of the year.

End of Season Awards

Didn't see any other threads so decided to start a new one..

The Official Site are allowing fans to vote for their Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Goal of the Season. I usually leave it late to vote as there are still a few matches to sway votes.

So who do you lot reckon will be picking up the gongs at St George's Hall on 16th May?

Here are my choices at the moment (but not final)

Player of the Season: Seamus Coleman

Young Player of the Season: Ross Barkley

(Difficult one as the choices are between Oviedo, Gueye, Barkley, Vellios, Junior, Duffy and Garbutt)

Good lad, a few weeks ago I probably would have voted Baines or Fellaini for Player of the Season, but they both haven't been consistent over the whole season, Seamus Ramos for me!
