With those players not getting that much playing time, they really should have included the Under 21's. The likes of McAleny and Kennedy would have been some peoples choices because of how well they performed. But we have a Reserve Player of the Year award dont we...

Scrapping the barrel as they're including Garbutt and Junior, with 1 appearance each to their name this season.

Fellaini has been the best player followed by Baines.

Mirallas Vic & Coleman have been great too.

It's weird, I don't think there have been any consistent standout players. Various players have played well in patches - Jelavic and Mirallas were ace at first then one lost form horribly and the other got injured; Fellaini was banging in the goals early on too. Coleman was poor early doors but has come to life again and has been even better than when he first broke into the team; likewise Heitinga, Osman, Gibson, Anichebe all starting to shine again.
Overall I'd have to say Baines, who although has failed to reach the spectacular standards he set himself of late, has never fallen below solid and dependable.

Not really. The vote is for the best senior team players.

Barkley hasn't even played for the U21s most of the season anyway...
