PL place target for the rest of the season

Where do we need to finish for the season now to be acceptable?

Anything less than top 4 is unacceptable.

Our management structure's inability to execute their business, and/or the changes in managers does not hold any baring on the club's commitment to the fan base that Everton is a big club and will challenge for champions league positions.

As such, anything less than top 4 is a disappointment, and not acceptable. Obviously at this stage top 4 is unlikely/not realistic; but that doesn't provide the club with a clean slate starting now. I'll be less disappointed with a 5/6th place finish than a 10/11th; but regardless anything less than top 4 is a disappointment and not acceptable.

Do you think that Allardyce will be given transfer dosh in Jan and how much? My first instinct is to think that it will be less than a lot of folk believe, and players will need to be sold first....just cannot see Moshiri throwing money at him

This all day long
Mosh will have given FSA a small budget and player sales to spend in Jan.
I wouldn’t trust him with a penny of the clubs money.
I suspect FSA has been brought in to steady the ship and will be sacked in June hopefully with another manager lined up beforehand , possibly one of the glamour names that Moshiri wants

"...it's my job to steer them back in the right direction and get among the European places" - Sam Allardyce.

You cant ask for fairer than that under the circumstances. He's not really wanted here (or needed, imo), but he's set his stall out to be judged come May.

I respect that.
With Coleman Bolassie and hopefully Barkley back plus a new Striker CB and LB that’s 6 new players to add to the squad , add McCarthy if he can stay fit plus Pickford Keane Rooney Gana Davies Siggy and on paper that’ll be a better squad than anyone outside the top six
FSA was saying today that signing players is one of his strengths so let’s see how he gets on in Jan hopefully in the first week.
7/8 place should be achievable

I'll be pleasantly surprised if we get that high in the table and stay there. Top 10 though: no excuses for me. If he doesn't get there he needs binning in the summer.

12th to 8th would be good considering where we were. 40 points is still the target for me, 24 games left, so 72 points to play for and we currently have 15 points so only 25 to go, which is 8 wins and 1 draw

I hope so.
