Gutted here, how come they didn't stage his interview like the prince andrew one with Emily Maitlis? It could've been amazing.
This lemon is 61 and has been on tv for 40 years. Cashed up to the eyeballs. Go and chill out on the French riviera and call it a day.

barrymore made it back on tv in big brother, maybe andrew windsor can sign up to dancing on ice or something.
I reckon he'd be happier in Cambodia. Him and Paul gadd could be neighbours.

Phillip looking all tearful when he's told he's had one hell of a week.

a 300k payoff sounds like a great week to me

He came across very disingenuous in that BBC interview. Obviously a lot of pre-briefed answers and approaches to answers.

He repeatedly and categorically said it was his fault and he is to blame, but when directly asked what he was at fault for, he had no answer and would skirt around the edges by saying things like "I kissed a colleague in the workplace...which I shouldn't have done.." then goes on to repeat that he was in a bad place understanding his own sexuality. Really avoiding the question while trying to look like he's displaying humility.

It was also odd when he talked about taking the lad (at 20 years old) coming in to the studio for a visit, but while he was waiting to be picked up, Schofield was 'worried he'd be waiting on his own', so took him for a bite to eat: "It wasn't a meal, just waiting for someone to pick him up", "so don't worry, don't go out there on your own".

So bizarre. He wasn't even asked about that, he bought it up on his own. Going out with a mate after work for some food isn't weird. If it was as innocent as he described, why would he even remember it, never mind think it's relevant to bring up on a TV interview about your inappropriate behaviour?

He had a WhatsApp group with his team and lawyers called 'The Event' which was about how he was going to publicly come out.

Lol, delusions of grandeur or what? 'The Event'. 😁

It's the WhatsApp chat called "Lollipops" the authorities need to look at.

Amazing how much influence some of these reputation management companies have!
As just like that, someone accused of grooming can suddenly seemingly control the news cycle?

It’s likely that there’s a victim of some serious grooming out there, and yet here’s a 60 odd year old fella almost claiming that he’s the ‘real victim’ in all this.

chris pincher 101...

I like to think that's not the case for most of us on here mate.
I certainly couldn't care less where people find love and happiness, the world needs more of it.
I should clarify, I've not seen anyone here doing that, it just seems that there's a lot of hypocrisy at large regarding the age gap in this case compared to the MANY huge age gaps between straight couples in the celebrity scene.

Not a defence of him by the way!

An age gap between consenting adults is fine.

A closeted, married old queen grooming a child before preying on him once it was “not illegal” is a little different.
