I don't really understand why the current news is a scandal or why MPS are involved.

I've worked in TV and theatre. Plus I went to predator island boarding school. I don't think people understand how prevalent this behaviour is and how accepted it is.

There could be, I see the current furore about enforcing an attitude from the 80's. "He's gay therefore...". What's been telling is the Ill advised but not illegal statement (or as close to that), we'll see what unfolds, thankfully he isn't being threatened with criminal sanction for failure to turn over his phones, diaries, and emails.
I suppose the more exposure you have a a celebrity, the more liberties are given up. Or something like that.

I agree, grooming a young vulnerable kid when you're a tv star a la prime 1970s BBC is common or garden fair around this neck of the woods too.
