I remember some recently saying that Nev was okay at right back but should never be played in midfield.

He's not even tolerable at right back anymore.

He is totally past it. He can't pass doesn't pass forward, his side and back passing is awful and breaks up our play and he somehow manages to lose the ball during these safety passes. He's slow as poop. He's given his all so we should let him go in return.

He playing right now cos there no else to play there, cant wait till we can get coleman/hibbert back, coleman and mirallas on the right will do wonders for Baines and Pieanar. But the right is not just happening.

He's worse at right back than he is in midfield and i've said that before.

Spot on. I can only think that his role now should be restricted to the one Naismith seems to have: coming off the bench to replace a tired pair of legs.

He's just beyond it now.
