His antics last week in the derby put the top hat on it for me. Hes a liability with poor positional play, hospital balls to team mates and poor tackles in dangerous places.

Hang your boots up fella, if you was a dog you would of been put down and out of your misery by now.

I'll say it for you mate.

He's crap.

He was 6 out of 10 today, which is pretty much the best he's capable of, so I'm not going to give him grief - but it's quite clear that a more mobile and competent player would have been in the position to not give away that free kick for the first.

But... meh, he was OK other than that. OK for his standards anyway. Notably better than in the derby.

Hopefully he'll be dropped to the bench when Gibson's back. Depends how deep routed Moyes' favouritism of him goes really, surely his ****ness has not gone unnoticed by all at the club.

At the very most he'll be moved to right back. Coleman's mistake today will give Moyes the excuse he needs to do so.

There's no way he'll be left out of a starting eleven whilst he's still at Everton and a part of the playing staff.

I know, I know... I'm just being hopelessly optimistic really. Still though, as a 35 year old, he may be due a rest soon and struggle to find his way back into the team. Please?
