he only plays well in big games because the adrenaline substitutes his lack of fitness. Which of course he doesn't have in every other game.

good point actually, he's played alright in the united and derby games. Maybe he could be our darren fletcher - just play in the big games if anyone is injured. He should be 3rd choice RB and only that imo, therefore not worth anywhere near the wonga we're paying him

I thought he played quite well in the derby especially the first half, but i thought the game passed him by against united.

maybe i was blinded by our great team performance - basically it was his 2nd best performance of the season - but that's hardly something to be proud of

He'd only be good for cover, 6th choice CM behind.. Felli, Gibson, Osman, Hitz, Junior and Barkley (providing we use Barkley there). 3rd choice RB behind Coleman and Hibbert. He's been a good captain and servant but he's getting worse with every season now.
