He and Baines are a victim of Martinez, everyone talks about our defense being a joke and that is why they aren't in, but it wasn't the fault of Baines or Jags - we had the best penalty taker & free kick expert in the premier league not taking the teams penalties and a central defender always exposed by crap tactics. This was the last chance for both and I really feel for them. That performance in the semi should have got Jags selected.
I think England could have an issue though, Jags rescued Cahill a number of times in 2014 - Stones is way off international standard at the mo - I can see him having a few issues unless Roy can teach him more in a few weeks than the last three years under RM.

I have absolutely no interest in Kevin Mirallas beyond what he does for Everton.
If he never kicks another ball for Belgium it won't bother me.

Judging by reports in the papers of the various injuries/inability to train days the defenders are currently subject to, looks like Hodgson will be regretting not taking Phil Jagielka over to France. Still, to our gain I suppose.

Just worry he's lost too much pace with the last few injuries, few times end of last season he let things bounce and didn't have the legs to recover and sweep it up. Guess We should all wait to see how the defence does under Ron first though before writing players off

Really tough to see that rom having possibly the best defence in the league on paper, Coleman-Jags-Stones/Distin/Mori-Baines, they were all made into scapegoats for poor team defensive tactics. England could have, should have had 3 players in the starting XI. On that subject, Ossie has been such an amazing player, but just because either he's smaller than others, or not 'fashionable' or something, he was never encouraged and supported to play for England
