I remember when he first came and was used as a midfielder and was woeful

Since switching to centre back he became immense and was at one stage first choice for England. He's done very well for us

However it's now clear to see and has been for a few seasons that he's gradually getting worse.

That said I had him as the best player on the pitch for us on Saturday
