Hope when we go the docks we only have stands at the side of the pitch, somerthing about Evertonians standing behind goals that turns them into whoppers, stands at the sides and 2 big walls behind the goals with murals painted on like Arsenal did at the North Bank a few years ago
Good idea. But with painted black and white stripes to symbolise what was there before.

I watched Wales playing yesterday and thought exactly the same re a settled formation and players knowing what to do. Individually you'd think only 3 or 4 of the Wales team would get into a PL team but they all know their roles, all play for the team and even take away their best player and they still function well.

except Williams, he was terrible! had some clumsy touches and a foot like a fifty pence piece

A crowd is reactive to what they see on the pitch.

I don't know how many times this same point needs to be made.

Expectations are big here, if the players aren't meeting these expectations, or at least showing a willingness to, then they won't be happy-clapped off the pitch.

We are not a Huddersfield, just in the Premier League for the ride, we are a team paying a manager one of the biggest salaries in World football and a team who have spent a fair chunk of money.

If someone is paying their hard-earned money to watch us play, they have a right to express their opinion how they see fit.

Absolutely spot on. It's not booing for booing sake, it's to try and jolt the team into some kind of response.

No one can tell me that against the likes of Limassol and Burnley ( I'll use the last 2 games as an example though this could be said since City away ) that every player walked off that pitch and could say "I gave my all and left everything out on the pitch today". I don't see any one of them breaking into a sweat chasing, harrying, flying onto tackles, giving the rest of the players a good bollocking or cajoling them.

I can take getting beat becsuse it's something we are used to as Evertonians unfortunately but I absolutely can't stand players hiding and not giving absolutely everything they have got on the pitch. If you can't cope with the expectation and demands of playing for Everton 'koff back to your Swanseas and Southamptons of this world

So you think it's beneficial for the team to hear boos at half time?

Well they are getting paid millions into their bank accounts every week, and then when the game is over, it's back home to their mansions in Chesire. While the average fan is being fleeced to attend matches. If people are not happy with the performances effort and application from these pampered multi millionaires, then they are well entitled to vent their feelings imo.The way i see it.If the players can't handle justified criticism for poor performances, then the praise they get when they win is rendered meaningless.

Would love to see the odds in the sunmer on us clamouring for Peter Reid to be our manager lol

Ffs whats happened to us!

I didn't say that they're not entitled to do it. I just think it's a stupid thing to do, because if anything it'll make us play worse and our players will end up preferring to play elsewhere (see Barkley).

It's great to hear him talking about Everton with such passion. Can't help but think it would be great for more people like him to be involved in our current setup.

A few of the points he raised:

Koeman needs to settle on a formation and play the same team so the players know what to do.

Koeman needs to do what he can to raise the players confidence/morale.

Players need to step up and take more responsibility and show a bit more desire especially against the *****.

The fans need to get behind the team more. Booing at half time is helping nobody. Reference to the B Munich game when the fans made the difference.

Boris Johnson is a ****.

I'd recommend it.
A lot of people talk the talk.
