Err.. yes. So in essence you are happy with the situation and don't really feel the need for change. Why do you dislike people who want more than a fifth place finish?

EDIT: Basically, why not just skip threads you don't like? I skip most threads in the forums I follow, including GOT. I have almost zero interest in discussing players were clearly won't be signing, for instance. Do I go to those threads and moan that people shouldn't talk?

If you bother to read you will see that I am not happy with the situation but I am a realist and I do deal with facts.

I bought my ticket to watch the game, I was hoping I would see some new star players, but as long my Mikel plays its all good I suppose.

I will keep paying my money, its the new fans, the bandwagon jumpers, those fans which have only just this year got a season ticket, their the 1s you gotta watch. :stick:

Well this is my first year back since 1997/98 when I gave it up. So really looking forward to it.

26,423

That number to me says that people want to watch Everton are prepared to pay for the privelege. I would hate to learn that the majority of them bought that ticket because they were expecting new signings to push top 4.

Good point. The FA Cup was a great bit of exposure...the only ones to capitalise are the fans expecting bigger and better things...

The people who run the club clearly forgot about that.

Yeah, more fans = more chance of a bigger stadium being filled, means that the club is going in the right direction,? no?

yeah!!!!

True.

But what happens next season? How many are going to renew then? We'll have to see what happens with this season the club can keep em happy on the pitch.

GhostofDixie has put in a wonderful, wonderful shift here.

Batting everything the weird electronic rumpelstiltskin and his side kick threw at him, fours and sixes all over the show.

Perspecitive.
Its quite apparent that you're deeply unhappy, probably with just life in general, but theres no need for you to be spouting all that paranoid sh*te all over the forum. This place doesnt really do that.

As Ghost pointed out, theres plenty of places to do with with lots more likeminded people, get to it. You wont be missed.

Thanks, Kipper taught me how to be bullet proof against thems types of folk.

Theres some absolute tools on here mate (myself included).

Some people just dont want to be happy, Im convinced plenty want to see Everton do bad so they can say "told you so".

Its the same whoppers who were calling for Moyes' head a couple of years ago, the same whoppers who were all doom and gloom last season and were proven wrong only to keep their heads below the parapet later on in the season.

It becomes tiresome.

Yeah well some things will never change I suppose.

I almost got led down a path until I realised the reasons were completely flawed.

Trouble is, those who are negative mainly invent facts to support their opinions, certainly on Kipper. Whereas I kept coming back with facts and they just wouldn't have it.

Did you know it was Kenwright's fault for not signing Naughton? Apparently we were dithering, but they failed to understand that Sheff Utd leaked the offer to the press, not us. We did everything by the book, they just wanted more money and conned Spurs into shelling out 5m for a player who they weren't going to have for 12 months.

But try as I might it was to no avail. Kenwright's fault, bored of it.

Then to see people bitching about the season ticket designs, it was just crazy [Poor language removed]. I was then convinced that Evertonians like to moan, regardless of what is going on. Me? I just want to have a laugh at the game. Something to make me smile, because what else is there if you can't smile?

One of only a handful of truly inspired put downs I've seen on Everton forums. Even those of us who it applies to have to recognise its majesty.

Thing is, they might even be right - who knows.

But going on about, day after day, post after post becomes really boring. It just gets everyone down in the end and this place was always better than that.

There are some exceptions to the rule, Davek - he's ours and we wouldnt change him - and the likes of Goat, Toccy, Neo, Browns and that arent as optimistic as you or I but still post good stuff on a variety of topics.

We need to reclaim the forum.

You sound like a Stepford wife (fan), mate. What's happened to you?

Well I'm 33, I hate the fact I haven't got a job that pays well (I've got 2 interviews lined up fulltime, freelance is being binned), and Everton are not part of my problems anymore, they are going to be light relief at the weekend.

I have my rattle and I am up for the cause.

Fair enough, I'm also a bit [Poor language removed] on the job front. have got something part time possibly lined up but it only pays about £20k. But what can you do?
