Of course you are right but it would be nice if they made an effort. A good start would be to sack the guy who calls himself head of PR who spends his time sending deragotary emails to fans.

Well I agree with that one. Ian Ross is a full on tosser, and without him Kenwright would make different decisions, I know that for a fact.

It's getting tiresome I know. But here is something which every single one of the doubters need to do.

Vote with your feet or make a stand. Don't sit on the fence with your rhetoric and anti-everton propaganda. Do something.

Thats a silly thing to say. What options do I REALLY have?

I could send back my ST, but then I lose the chance to watch the players I love at the ground I love.

I could refuse to buy anymore tickets and boycott Goodison, but again its me who loses out.

I could start 1 man protest at the game, which would either get idiots having a go at me or end up with me being arrested.

I could sit down face to face with Kenwright and tell him were I think hes going wrong, but thats unlikely to happen.

So the only real choice left, is to whine and moan on an internet forum. Im fairly sure the Club would prefer the current option, rather than any others.

Your right, we havent become a bad team overnight, we still have our heroes, our Cahills, Our Baines, we still have our stars, Arteta, Yakubu, Jagielka, we still have 1 of the best managers in the game. A man so talented he can perform utter miracles.

All I want is for that man to be able to do his job properly. Moyes isnt happy at the moment, hes not pointing fingers, but he wants players as much as we do. Im fairly sure if had an account on here he would be moaning at the moment.

It baffles me when people have such negativity towards negativity. Its our view that not everything in the garden is rosey, its our view that things could be better, it doesnt mean we think less of the club, we just want things to be better, thats all really.

Mate it's not about negativity towards negativity. It's about putting up or shutting up because not everybody wants to hear about it. It gets boring and I'm being totally honest with you. To an extent where people moan for the sake of it.

On Kipper there is so many people with angst but nobody says a ******* word to the club. They were trying to arrange a protest but those who were bitching were laughing at it. You either do something about it, if you feel strongly about something.

Cal who is head honcho on the "were ****ed" bandwagon, he said he came face to face with Kenwright, what an opportunity to put your money where your mouth is, but he didn't do anything.

We all laugh at the KEIOC people, but at least they did something, however successful it will prove to be.

But if it comes to a point where your that pissed off that it's not enjoyable anymore then don't waste your life being pissed off, do something else, away from football - because mate if I ever get like that I will walk away from Everton because at the end of the day, it isn't the most important thing in my life.

Ok, so who hires Moyes? He never walked in and said right I'm taking over this place.
Not this again.. Moyes wasn't Kenwright's first choice and he was actually recommended by Smith (who Kenwright kept at the helm for almost too long).

Well I think you my friend are lost on me. So maybe we should end this discussion here. I'm positive about Everton and so are many others. If your not then I can assure you your negative comments are quite welcome in 1 very popular forum.
You listed some youngsters. Are they the most promising bunch of any of the PL teams? The PL is a competitive series and only relative terms matter, not absolute.

And I don't think I was negative, rather a realist. We have had at least 20 promising youngsters who looked certain for the first team in the last ten years alone and how many have made it? About five of these were left backs (Fox for instance). It's just the way it is and it's the same for any club. Very few make it to the PL level. I'll list some promising youngsters we all had hopes for (some from the youth system, some bought for their potential):
- John Oster,
- Danny Cadamarteri,
- Michael Branch,
- Phil Jevons,
- Jon O'Connor,
- Gareth Farrelly,
- Paul Gerrard,
- Graham Allen,
- Danny Williamson,
- Tony Grant (he was ok but at one point looked a lot more),
- Steve Simonsen,
- Peter Degn,
- Jamie Milligan,
- Peter Clarke,
- Stephen Hughes,
- Kevin McLeod,
- Idan Tal,
- Nick Chadwick........

and so on and so on. I've been following the discussions for more than 15 years now and there are always promising youngsters who people are sure will "make it". Many of these actually got a few games under their belt but that was it. And these are only the players who were actually considered to be in the first team, the number of promising youngsters released without that status is much longer and also includes many prospects.

Unconditional financial support? Are you saying that the club take our money and don't give us back anything?

I think you're skewing the issue somewhat, but I'll indulge you anyway.

The club is giving us something back, yes, but not of a quality that we expect within the ostensible financial capacity of the club, much less demand. One could say it's a substandard yet expensive product. A bad way to improve that state of affairs might be (speaking in the abstract) to cheerfully persevere in attending matches. That's my point, and to brand anyone for taking that stance as anti Everton is way out of order, in my view.

It isnt the most important thing in my life, my kids, my missus and my family ALL come before it, even my cat.

Yes im pissed off, but ive still re-newed my ST, ive still spent what is for me, a small fortune on club gear for myself and the kids, I will still attend every single Home game, I still love Everton, I just want more from it. I love my kids, but I always want more from them.

Is it so very wrong that I want more than I can have?

Amen to that. The reality is we don't have millions to spend, we don't have anything to spend really.

Life's a bitch ain't it?

Still looking forward to watching Everton this season.

Of course not, but we need to be realistic, take stock and work with what we have. No point wishing for something that isn't going to happen.

That number to me says that people want to watch Everton are prepared to pay for the privelege. I would hate to learn that the majority of them bought that ticket because they were expecting new signings to push top 4.

Its f.ucking embarrassing reading some of the tripe that you guys write. We have the best manager in the league- we are putting bids in for players that he believes will strengthen us in the long run and not overnight. For one reason or another we havent signed anyone but we will.

This is real life not some shitty championship manager game that some of you actually post and say -'well hes decent on FM' Embarrassing.

If you want some faceless Sheik to come in with millions and buy any over priced turkey for immediate success that is not sustainable go support Manchester City and stay the hell away from my club. £25m for Adebayor?!!?? Embarrassing. £150k a week for Toure??!! Embarrassing.

We would all like to be challenging for the league but we also have to be realistic and put it into some perspective- we finished 5th Last year- above Spurs who spent millions, above Sunderland who spent millions, above Newcastle who spent millions. Spending money does not guaruntee success- Look at Real Madrids Galaticos v1, great players but didnt exactly do much eh? Man City anyone?

This site is renowned for being positive because the majority of us are fanatics (fans) that love the club and what it is achieving- there are other forums you can go to that would love to have you on board and I suggest you go there- Log In

Good for you. + Rep.

Err.. yes. So in essence you are happy with the situation and don't really feel the need for change. Why do you dislike people who want more than a fifth place finish?

EDIT: Basically, why not just skip threads you don't like? I skip most threads in the forums I follow, including GOT. I have almost zero interest in discussing players were clearly won't be signing, for instance. Do I go to those threads and moan that people shouldn't talk?

I bought my ticket to watch the game, I was hoping I would see some new star players, but as long my Mikel plays its all good I suppose.

I will keep paying my money, its the new fans, the bandwagon jumpers, those fans which have only just this year got a season ticket, their the 1s you gotta watch. :stick:

This is certainly the way I am thinking these days. Having spent the summer in the wilderness, I can certainly agree that BK is the way to go if you want to vent fury.

I also had a strange encounter with a lad who definitely has the Blues at heart, and is someone who knows what he is talking about - however, I felt he was running without a cause in the end. Looking at moving Kenwright out and that something needs to be done, however we both agreed that nothing much will happen till DK is sorted, and apparently there is already a deal in place to buy the club - so didn't really get why there was a need to protest.
