Everybody knows im down with Moist, I love the ginger weapon.

But he needs to get it into his thick skull, Summer transfer windows dont close at the end of August, in his head, they should close today, 1 week before our first game, all business should be done, its not hard, its really not fcking hard.

'GOAT IN RARE MOYES CRITICISM'

You're spot on though mate. No point chucking someone in after three games and saying, go on then lad get us our first win of the season.

my mate from everton just text there are loads of press in finch farm right now

So this ETID lid is now claiming the rag paps are all over Finch Farm, eh?

If he's confirmed as a bluffer after today, I expect him to be banned immediately.

No time for wasters.

* I'll be the first to apologise IF he is spot-on, though.....

From all the people who seems to be saying its happening I am wondering if there really something in this , I always say my source isn't in everton so he's not always aware of what we are doing like those with sources in the club such as LCAB & Bluefox . If this has changed maybe having money from Rodwell has changed out situation or our interest and I know we came close to getting him before when he went to united but as I keep saying another club (it's not hard to guess who) do not think we are a threat or even a rival . We'll have to wait and see I suppose

Maybe there's press all over FF for a press conference about the United game or a weekly one which has gained more interest due to Rodwell leaving.

It's obvious what is going on.

Naismith on a free was time-sensitive so we had to move ASAP.

Pienaar was the same, he was desperate on a move but he had other options.

The fact is that we're delaying until as close to the end of August as possible to save ourselves a months wages on each player we sign.

Which, to be fair, makes financial sense as say we sign three players on £50k a week with the Rodwell money, you're saving yourself £600k over a month.

But in a footballing sense it's pure suicide - unfortunately, we can't afford to play it any other way.

I can't blame Moyes for the way transfers work. Agents are reluctant to conclude deals early too as they can get a premium on or just before transfer deadline day, and clubs can get a premium on the transfer fee of contracted players. Which is why 80-90% of all summer transfers are done in the last 48 hours.
