I can imagine if we sign him he'll be on something like £20k p/w but with a £20k appearance bonus per game, so if he gets fit and plays well, he gets paid more, and isn't content to sit on his arse constantly. Once we flog Rodwell/Fellaini (got a feeling one's definitely going this summer) and he'll be our main midfielder next season. Him and Saha will then never end up playing in the same XI and we will cry. All of us.
 

He's a massive gamble and the managers/clubs looking at him will go through his medical condition with a tooth comb...if that hasn't happened, I guess its probably well known he's crocked big time

BUT:...there's something in me wanting him to prove people wrong because I was a massive fan of his.
 

His type of player is sorely needed as we never really replaced Carsley.

It would be boss if we could do a Peter Reid on him.
 

Is he covered by NHS? If so I guess he wouldn't be bad. Its not like we need any central mids though.

He would. We have no anchor player other than Fellaini, and Hargreaves would allow the Big Belg licence to play box to box like he should be doing.

Plus, it'd keep Neville out of midfield. Or you'd hope so anyway.

It would quash Rodwell's development a bit though.
