Outswinging corners

I'm sure the stats will tell you outswinging corners are useless, in fact I'm almost sure of it. We rarely score from corners, and my biggest fear is us conceding on the break from our own corners. With an outswinger the pace on the ball is towards our own goal. 1 quick header and a long pass or run from them and we're in trouble. Twice yesterday Coleman and Gueye had to take bookings to stop them being in on goal from our corner.

Clip a floated ball to the back post and let Keane nod it back across, teams always put their smallest players on the back posts and Keane wins most headers; he's got a proper biscuit tin head though, so he never gets them on target.
We need to do this a lot more. Seems to me a lot of teams score on corners not from the first ball, but in this situation when it's nodded back across. It makes sense, b/c the defence is now more stretched than on the corner.

I'd like to see a team do something really weird - put 6 men in the corner of the pitch that it is being taken from and see how confused the defence gets, or put them on the far side beyond the box and all run laterally into the box as it is taken, or put 8 men on the line and just curl it with pace going for a direct goal.

Probably wouldn't work but when a team is well drilled to defend corners it changes the dynamic.

We need to be more creative from corners...

We do not look like scoring from corners & waste most of them by hitting the first man...

In swinging corners are always more dangerous in my opinion....

We must work on corners at both ends, but it does makes you wonder sometimes....scratches head & looks up to the sky...
