He certainly does a job as a sub - pulls defenders out wide, constant movement, good strength. Must be annoying as hell for a central defender with 15 minutes left.

It would be hard to turn down an offer of say, 20-25 million for him, but I would say it would be hard to sell him, because he is one of the best late impact subs we have had in a long time. His work rate just drives defenders mad, and he can finish.

Indeed. An argument could be made about whether it was a kind bounce or skill but there's no doubting that his persistence led to the cross. Persistence is his greatest attribute IMHO and as stated previously, defenders cannot risk ignoring him because he will get into a position that will allow him to score.

Personally, I hope we keep him. At the very least, an impact Sub against tired defenders, but I wouldn't preclude a proven Striker to work with Tosun.

A genuinely likeable player, and one who has energy, commitment and self-belief in bundles and can play a fair bit too. Why on earth would you sell the guy....he clearly is well liked by the other players too.

I think this is where can be used best. And that's very useful. Do we need better? Yes. But as an impact sub, and infectious work rate/personality, surely he has a place in our team next season.

..I never thought i’d think he’d be worth keeping hold of, I never thought an offer of £15m would be worth turning down. He really is useful to have on the bench because he’s a decent athlete and a willing runner who will give defenders something to think about.
