Niasse has a nuisance value when he comes on, he makes it difficult for defenders & causes problems...

Did much more than the ineffective & disappointing Tosun...

hes obv not got the footballing brain or technique of say a shearer or kane, but his unconventional way seems to unnerve opponents..

I think he has a great footballing brain. One of our most intelligent players actually, but the technique doesn't quite match up so not everything comes off for him. His runs, positioning and the way he holds up play waiting (and waiting..) for others to move for him is spot on.

Needs to work on his technique.....especially his deliberate diving!!!!! Unconventional, looks awkward on the ball and you’d say falls below the standard expected.

But.....he has the qualities in abundance that too many of our under performing mercenary prima dona’s in that he has enthusiasm, work rate and an infectious desire to influence the game by his involvement. Been treated appallingly by previous managers but deserves his place in the squad.

Can someone also help me understand why we can’t play two up top at home in games against teams at the bottom end of the season instead of two defensive midfielders?

We did against City and got battered, so we aren't ever going to do it again.
TBH it's been an issue all season, it was obvious that Sandro, for instance, was never going to be a lone striker, yet we kept trying to play him on his own.

as a footballer he's grim, okay of the bench to run around for 15 mins and just be physical in the box, we need more options on the bench though, the only other attacking player was klassen who's even worse
And the likes of Barkley and Lukaku were chased out of here for not running around like idiots. We love a clogger it seems.
