Exact reason why he should have been starting for a while.

When you lack ability make up for it with work rate, when he joined he said his main strength was harassing defenders and me and many others laughed him off as lazy and crap.

Shows time and time again, no ball is a lost cause and gives defenders a nightmare when they are running backwards and he's chasing them.

Even after January and we get in the striker we need he's proven himself to be useful enough to keep around the place 6 games 4 goals despite looking like Bambi on the ball.

I’m just glad he’s taken his chance when given it, he embodies everything Everton.

Top scorer. Was wrong about him, and very much happy that he's contributing a lot of heart (and goals).

He was loving it at the end, and his team mates appeared made up for him, too.

I feel sorry for those fans who were calling him all sorts of names when he was banished. He was ridiculed by our fans and our club. Then even Koeman brought him back in the fold, still after a couple of good performances our fans seem to write a player off the moments they get a chance too. Now everyone will be hailing Niasse. He deserves it too. However, again he will soon be "not good enough" next week. He isn't the answer to Lukaku, he isn't a 15 goals striker. What he is...is a fighter who is up for it. He works hard and gives the team a lift. I think that is good enough to be an Everton player whether a starter or a squad player.
